System Engineer; m​/w​/d; Embedded Systems

Your Mission

Our client is an internationally operating technology company seeking an experienced System Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of communication technologies. In this position, you will work on innovative next-generation communication solutions and support the development process from the initial system concept through to a fully functional proof of concept.

• Design and development of system concepts for communication systems
• Integration of SoCs, FPGAs, and peripheral devices
• Development and enhancement of proof-of-concept systems
• Testing, validation, and optimization of end-to-end systems
• Integration of SDKs, software components, and communication protocols
• Creation of technical documentation and system architecture descriptions
• Collaboration with international development and research teams

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the development of communication systems
• Experience with satellite communications, mobile communications, WLAN, or comparable wireless technologies
• Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Python
• Experience with Linux and/or RTOS
• Knowledge of SoCs and FPGAs
• Experience in hardware/software co-design
• Structured and solution-oriented working style with strong teamwork skills
• Excellent English language skills
