We are a pharmaceutical company specialising in the research, development, manufacturing and distribution of medicines. Our focus is on intensive care medicine, anaesthesiology and infectious diseases. To strengthen our growing team in Aachen, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d).
Your Role:
In this position, you will ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations and act as a key interface between suppliers, contract manufacturers, customers, logistics service providers and internal stakeholders. You will contribute to customer satisfaction, process optimisation and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with relevant GxP and GDP requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotations and monitor purchase and sales orders
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including GDP documentation
- Work closely with contract manufacturers, B2B customers and logistics service providers
- Monitor inventory and support supply chain planning activities
- Review invoices and ensure accurate ERP postings
- Analyse supply chain, shipping and delivery data to identify optimisation opportunities
- Prepare supply chain performance reports
- Ensure accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with GxP guidelines
- Support day-to-day supply chain operations and related activities
- Degree in Business Administration or a comparable field,
or equivalent professional training with extensive relevant experience - At least 5 years of professional experience in customer service, procurement and/or logistics within a relevant industry
- Proven experience with ERP systems
- Ideally, you also bring: experience in managing and collaboratioing with contract manufacturers and external logistics providers, and experince in project management
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- Strong service orientation and customer focus
- High level of reliability, resilience and attention to detail
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
