đ» RoleAs a Marketing Manager at Whatnot, you will own the growth of a product category in the DACH Market, while helping shape how we scale categories across Europe. Youâll immerse yourself in local communities and cultural dynamics, design campaigns that resonate authentically, and drive acquisition and retention in your market. In this role, you will:
Own buyer acquisition for your category in the DACH Market, developing campaigns and events that generate community buzz and grow demand on Whatnot
Build and manage a roster of influencers and creators, treating influencer marketing as a core performance channel. Youâll identify, onboard, and manage partners to drive firstâtime buyers at competitive CAC â this is not a brand awareness play
Develop highâperforming content in partnership with our creative team for paid campaigns, ensuring ads deliver exceptional conversion and firstâtime buyer growth.
Lead the planning and execution of digital and inâperson events, partnering with sellers and internal teams to deliver programs that build awareness and drive core supply and demand metrics in the DACH Market
Measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to refine strategy, scale what works into EUâwide playbooks, and partner with US counterparts to adapt proven approaches for the DACH market
We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs, and we value inâperson time for planning, problemâsolving, and connection. Team members in this role must live within commuting distance of our Berlin, Germany hub.
đ YouWeâre looking for a marketer with the experience and drive to take a category from zero to one in the DACH Market, using influencer, paid, and event marketing as growth engines.
Experience:
5â12 years in consumer or category marketing, ideally in fastâpaced, highâgrowth environments. Youâve seen excellent marketing firstâhand and applied those lessons to drive measurable resultsInfluencer marketing expertise:
Proven track record building and managing a roster of influencers and creators as a performance channel, driving firstâtime buyers at competitive CACCreative & performance content:
Ability to develop and deliver content that performs in paid ads and fuels acquisition at scaleEvent marketing:
Experience planning and executing digital and inâperson events that deliver measurable growth and community engagementFluent in German & English (written & spoken) with a deep understanding of DACH market cultural and community dynamics
Executional excellence & dataâdriven mindset:
Proven ability to fully own endâtoâend campaigns, track KPIs, and optimize based on insights. SQL knowledge is a plusMindset:
