Fractional CMO B2B SaaS - 2d​/m​/f​/d

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for a 6-month initial engagement (2 days/week) to build and steer our B2B SaaS demand generation engine.

Reporting directly to our CEO, you will bridge strategic marketing leadership with aggressive pipeline growth. You will own our Go-To-Market (GTM) execution across Europe and North America, refine our product positioning, and bridge the gap between marketing initiatives and sales outcomes.

If you excel at setting high-level strategic direction while directly guiding internal talent and managing specialized external partners, this role offers full operational ownership without the friction of a full-time ramp-up.

• GTM Strategy & Demand Generation: Build and execute a cohesive marketing strategy designed to accelerate paid MQL-to-SQL pipeline generation across EU and US

• Performance Budget & Agency Management: Direct a €20k/month paid marketing budget (Linked In, Search, etc.) and steer external performance marketing freelancers to maximize ROI and lower acquisition costs

• Product Messaging & Sales Enablement: Oversee the refresh of core commercial assets—including sales pitch decks, competitor battle cards, one-pagers, and product feature documentation

• Website Redesign Leadership: Own the strategic direction for a 2-month website overhaul, partnering with an external design agency to optimize user journeys and increase demo request conversions

• Team & Sales Alignment: Provide direct leadership and mentorship for internal marketing team members while maintaining daily alignment with our Sales team to ensure lead quality and pipeline flow

• Proven B2B SaaS Track Record: 8+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a clear portfolio of scaling B2B SaaS pipeline in both European and North American markets

• Dual Expertise: Deep familiarity with performance marketing (google ads, LinkedIN) oversight alongside strong product marketing and positioning capabilities

• Vendor & Agency Steering: Hands-on experience hiring, directing, and holding external design and performance agencies accountable to strict KPIs

• Commercial Acumen: A numbers-driven mindset focused on metrics that matter—demo bookings, traffic duration, MQL/SQL velocity, and revenue impact

• Location: Based in or near Berlin (hybrid availability for key leadership syncs preferred)
