As a Remote HR / On boarding Assistant at Reliable Security Staffing Management

• On boarding Coordination:
  • Lead the virtual on boarding process for new security hires, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Verify necessary documentation (e.g., background checks, licenses, certifications) and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with new hires through phone, email, and video calls to provide a clear, efficient, and welcoming on boarding experience.
• Recruitment Support:
  • Review resumes, assist in screening candidates, and schedule virtual interviews for prospective security staff.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries and provide information about the company and security roles.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records for new hires in our HR software system.
  • Track and ensure security staff training, certifications, and licensing are up to date.
• Administrative Support:
  • Answer inquiries from security staff regarding their on boarding status and ensure all new hires are set up for success.
  • Assist in the preparation of on boarding materials and internal documentation.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Offer suggestions for improving the on boarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and compliance requirements related to the security industry.

• Experience:
  • 1+ year of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative roles. Experience in the security industry is a plus, but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to clearly explain policies and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a bonus.
