Construction Defect Attorney

• Manage litigation matters involving latent and patent construction defects, property damage, and real estate claims across California state courts

• Draft pleadings, law-and-motion submissions, discovery, and mediation briefs

• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, geotechnical experts, and contractors to evaluate building defects and establish liability

• Conduct and defend depositions of property owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and technical experts

• Attend site inspections, court hearings, arbitrations, mandatory settlement conferences, mediations, and trials

• Utilize AI-driven software and digital technology tools to streamline document analysis, evidence organization, and legal research

• Active member with the State Bar of California
• 2+ years of general civil litigation experience
• Prior construction defect background is a plus
• First-chair trial experience is a major bonus
• Must currently reside in California
• Must have a quiet, dedicated home office suitable for virtual court hearings and remote depositions
• Enthusiasm for adopting AI legal tools and modern law firm technology to optimize legal processes
