Your mission

At Sentryc, we protect global brands from counterfeiting and brand abuse with an AI-powered SaaS platform that scans the internet for IP infringements. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will drive the development of our platform by staying hands-on with code and helping shape our technical direction. You’ll collaborate closely with the CTO and CPO to translate business needs into impactful technical solutions, while promoting engineering excellence across a small but ambitious team.

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy features for our microservices-based platform
• Improve performance, security, and scalability using Java 11, Spring Boot, Postgre
  
  SQL, Elastic Search, AWS, Docker, Graph
  
  QL, and testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot Test
• Set clear technical direction and ensure clean, maintainable code through best practices
• Conduct code reviews and support a culture of continuous learning and technical growth
• Work closely with the CTO and CPO to transform product needs into robust system solutions
• Coach and inspire a cross-functional team of backend and frontend developers
• Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements
• Keep up with emerging technologies and assess their potential value for our platform

Your tasks

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development
• Expert knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience working with distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
• Solid understanding of agile development workflows
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
• Bonus:
  
  Experience with AWS, GCP, or monitoring tools like Datadog
