Your job

• Further development and programming of an MES for a tier 1 supplier in the automotive sector
• Adaptation and further development of the graphical user interface (GUI) and integration of 3rd party applications
• Development and execution of automated unit and functional tests
• Analysing customer requirements and developing solutions
• Supporting the application and assisting with operation and maintenance

• A degree in computer science or engineering or a comparable qualification
• Multi-year practical experience in the development of Java applications and frameworks
• Practical experience with handling and integrating relational databases (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL/Maria
  
  DB)
• Understanding of client-server architectures as well as system and IT knowledge in the area of Java and RMI communication
• Ideally experience with software in an industrial and production-related environment and with the use of container technologies (e.g. Docker)
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as flexibility and the ability to work in a team
• Structured, goal-oriented way of working and high quality awareness
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Professional demeanour and willingness to travel
