We're looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer to join our team building the Rapid Next Platform - the core system that helps funeral professionals manage their work with dignity and efficiency, and allows friends and family to perform important tasks surrounding the bereavement. This is a critical role as we consolidate and renew multiple legacy systems into a unified modern platform, with  marking a period of significant technical transformation.

• Contribute to agile software development across our platform stack
• Work within a small team of experienced developers on a number of backend and frontend systems of various vintage
• Collaborate with members of your own team and members of adjacent teams
• Implement solutions with significant autonomy in defining your approach
• Collaborate closely with product management to translate requirements into technical reality
• Work with backend and frontend technologies (C#/.NET, Java Spring Boot, Angular, React, Vue) within a cloud-based, containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS/GCP)

• Substantial development experience across multiple projects and domains
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code with attention to security and performance
• Ability to own complete deliveries from design to production
• Fluent in English, Proficiency in German is a big plus
