Engineering Manager - Cloud & Security; m​/f​/x

Your Role

As an Engineering Manager in our Tooling & Security department, you are directly responsible for maintaining and improving our internal tooling, cloud governance and security. You will lead an international, world-class team of engineers, and will help the rest of FINN work efficiently and securely in their day to day jobs.

• Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or in a similar field.

• Proven track record with 5+ years of software engineering experience in larger projects.

• 2+ years of experience building and leading a team of software engineers in a fast‑pace development environment.

• Experience with platform or security engineering practices. Ideally, you have hands‑on experience with leading disaster recovery and incident response efforts. (Those are not a daily reality at FINN, but you will be expected to own them if need be.)

• Ability to own and drive company‑wide technical projects (e.g., migrations, patching, etc.) from the position of a coordinator.

• Solid knowledge of TS, Python, or Go, with ability to code and review code without AI if need be.

• Deep knowledge of AWS or GCP, and are willing to learn the other quickly.

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

€105,000 - €116,000 a year

This is the salary range for this position. Additionally, you will benefit from virtual company shares (VSOP - Virtual Stock Option Plan). Your individual placement within this range will be determined during the application process and is based on your experience, qualifications, and specific expertise.
