SDET; Software Developer Engineer in Test

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model:
Two days in‑office for a SDET (Software Developer Engineer in Test). We are a fast‑paced, ideas‑led technology team that builds and tests groundbreaking technology for our Flights Technology organization.

• Join the Connectivity, Optimization & Commercial Operations product group and integrate and maintain a large number of airline APIs in an in‑house supply platform.
• Work across a portfolio of applications that form the supply layer of our platform in flight search, booking, payment, servicing and reconciliation.
• Define architecture, design, and implementation of test automation solutions.
• Set up automated testing environments for multiple API / microservice‑based applications.
• Design and build test cases and leverage existing automation frameworks to create new test scripts while maintaining existing ones.
• Translate manual regression test cases into automated test scripts.
• Lead testing for large‑scale web applications and tools.
• Advocate best practices to team members and development teams.
• Collaborate with managers, product managers, software engineers and other teams to ensure high quality of the product by architecting automation‑focused solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 3–5+ years of proven experience defining, developing and owning test automation infrastructure for a large enterprise.
• Solid foundation in software testing fundamentals with a balance between manual and automated testing.
• Experience working with APIs from various external providers, and using Postman or similar tools for gRPC, SOAP, REST API testing.
• Knowledge of schema validation, response and error codes of APIs.
• Fluency in a variety of languages, frameworks and tools for automated testing such as JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, Java, TestNG, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, MongoDB, Redis, Sauce Labs, Browser Stack.
• Fluency in Elixir or another functional programming language is a plus.
• Ability and interest in developing test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment solutions such as Argo CD or Git Hub Actions.
• Experience developing test strategies, plans based on user stories, functional specifications and business requirements.
• Experience with test case management tools (Test Rail, TM4J, QC etc.) and advanced SQL.
• Familiarity with load/performance testing tools such as JMeter and JavaScript‑based libraries.
