Software Engineer – Golang (m/f/d) – Munich

• Develop high‑quality software, including features, performance, testing, and documentation.
• Work as part of a team to implement new micro‑service projects and provide APIs for external partners.
• Learn and evaluate new technologies and skills, sharing this knowledge with other developers.
• Actively address technical challenges and improvements, driving solutions that enhance system stability and security.
• Participate in CI/CD efforts, enhancing automated testing and deployment processes for swift and reliable releases.

• At least 3 years of experience in backend software development, primarily with Golang, gRPC, and micro‑services.
• Experience with AI agents (Git Hub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to bridge knowledge gaps and work efficiently with unfamiliar domains.
• Passion for clean, efficient, well‑documented Golang code. Experience with Java is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience designing and building APIs for third‑party integration, ensuring security and scalability.

  SQL databases (Datastore), event‑driven architecture (Google Pub/Sub), Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, GCP, and Git Hub Actions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and revising assumptions with new information.

• Take ownership of work, understand architecture, deliver on product requirements, and improve testability and functionality.
• Bring initiatives from idea to delivery phase in collaboration with the team.
• Familiarize oneself with the EGYM ecosystem and the roles of different teams in the software engineering department.
• Integrate into the team and company culture.
