Lead Software Engineer

• Provide technical leadership for building and maintaining data infrastructure and platform products.
• Process continuous data streams in near real‑time using Apache Flink.
• Use Prometheus and Grafana to track system health, set alerts, and monitor performance.
• Build data pipelines and perform ETL with Flink, Spark, HBase, Azkaban, and Airflow.
• Move large volumes of data with Apache Kafka and manage data storage, servers, logs, and permissions in the AWS data stack (S3, EC2, Cloud Watch, IAM).
• Automate tasks in Unix/Linux using CLI and Bash; support application development, software updates, releases, integration testing, documentation, research, QA coordination; mentor junior engineers; eligible for remote work one or more days per week.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience processing continuous data streams with Apache Flink; at least five (5) years using Flink, Spark, HBase, Azkaban, and Airflow for data pipelines and ETL.
• At least three (3) years handling real‑time data feeds with Apache Kafka; experience with AWS data stack (S3, EC2, Cloud Watch, IAM).
• Proficiency in automating tasks in Unix/Linux CLI and Bash.
