About the job Director of Engineering Suite What you’ll be responsible for:

Growing the newly formed department to 20 team members
Own the suite department's tech strategy and roadmap. Ensure that the suite’s goals are overall aligned with company goals by collaborating with senior management throughout the organization.
Be a mentor and coach to an excellent team of technical leaders and support them in their personal development. Actively recruit new leaders and team members.
Ensure that our products are built in time and with a consistent user experience. You regularly assess and monitor the state of teams and processes and advocate for best practices

What you need:

Proven track record managing managers of agile teams, setting goals and ensuring their successful delivery
You have a software engineering background and have the ability to analyze and reason about complex systems as well as understand the requirements for effective software delivery
You can utilize different leadership styles and your situational awareness to guide teams forward even in complex situations
You have effective communication skills that can guide and inspire your teams
It’s a plus if you have first hand experience working with localization solutions and understand the domain we’re operating
