Senior Swift (iOS & MacOS) Developer

Responsibilities

• Maintain, refactor, and evolve our existing MacOS and iPhone application stack.
• Modernize legacy components while ensuring backward compatibility and stability.
• Improve UX and performance across iPhone and MacOS platforms.
• Ensure integration with backend APIs and shared business logic.
• Coordinate releases, testing, and deployments via App Store and internal test systems.
• Introduce and enforce coding standards, test coverage, and CI/CD practices for Swift projects.
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and project management to plan feature roadmaps and technical improvements.
• Analyze and fix complex bugs or performance bottlenecks in existing Swift and Objective-C codebases.

• 5+ years of professional experience developing in Swift and SwiftUI (Objective-C knowledge is a plus).
• Deep understanding of Apple development ecosystems (Xcode, Instruments, Combine, App Kit/UIKit, Core Data, etc.).
• Experience maintaining MacOS and iOS apps across multiple OS versions.
• Familiarity with modular architectures (MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, local persistence, and background sync.
• Practical experience with unit/UI testing and App Store Connect/Test Flight workflows.
• Strong sense of code quality, maintainability, and long-term product sustainability.
• English C1 or above, written and spoken.
• German is a plus.
