Freelance Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Soft Spect GmbH, a team of AWS-certified cloud solution architects based in Germany, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Senior Frontend Developer with a strong focus on React.js. We specialize in delivering exceptional user experiences through innovative cloud-based solutions, encompassing front-end development, UI/UX design, and seamless backend integration.

About the Role:

As a Freelance Senior Frontend Developer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining modern, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js. You will collaborate closely with our UI/UX designers and backend developers to create seamless and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable front-end applications using React.js and Type Script.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly designs based on UI/UX specifications.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs to fetch and display data efficiently.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Optimize front-end performance for speed and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Manage code using Git and contribute to our Git Lab repository.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless API integration.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proven experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or similar.
• Strong understanding of modern CSS practices and experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Material UI.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and data fetching.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience with Git version control and Git Lab.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Experience with AWS Amplify is a plus.

Freelance Details:

• Project-based contract with an estimated duration of 1 to 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
• Expected workload of 40 hours per week, with flexible working hours.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Regular online meetings using tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
• Code reviews and communication through Git Lab.
• Must be located in the European Union.
