With a team of product and IT experts, you will be responsible for further developing their Enterprise-IoT-Suite and services to ensure a stable and scalable technological foundation for the strategic development of our group.

We are looking for a (Senior) QA engineer (m/f/d) with a software engineer's hands: someone who reads a spec and already sees the three ways it falls apart. Who can write the code but would rather read the logs. Who physically cannot run the same manual check a third time without automating it. Will will cover the following tasks:

• Ensure high product quality by creating & executing the test strategy for new features, user workflows and integrations to other systems
• Design, use and improve AI agents for every step of the software development process.
• Work closely with the QA community to ensure collaboration between teams
• Prioritise, plan & execute testing activities for the team
• Work together with the software developers & product owner to ensure software quality
• Extend and maintain the automation test suite; constantly automate regressions and repeated executions
• Together with your team, you develop services to monitor, control and optimize IoT based smart heating systems in residential and commercial buildings

AI made writing tests cheap. It did not make knowing what to test cheap, and it did not make judging the results cheap. Your job is to evolve our test infrastructure, keep it fast enough that people actually run it, and find the cases the developers never imagined.

We are searching for a candidate with following qualifications:

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Curiosity and the ability to learn fast
• 7+ years of practical experience working as aQA Engineer (m/f/d)
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and comfortable with AI-first development workflows
• Extensive experience with exploratory testing
• Experience testing systems integrated with other systems
• Experience writing E2E tests with Playwright (or similar tools)
• Proficiency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable education
• Hands on experience in coding with Java/Kotlin and Typescript

• Experience with AWS
• Proficiency in German is a big plus
