Social Media Manager

Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for passionate and creative Social Media Manager to strengthen our Marketing team and elevate our online presence across the gaming and esports universe. In this role, you will be responsible for developing channel-specific strategies, creating outstanding content, and running data-driven campaigns across all relevant platforms. Working closely with the marketing team and other relevant departments like Product Management or Publisher Relations, you will help shape the digital voice in gaming and esports.

This position is based on-site at our Berlin-Spandau headquarters.

• Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to gaming and esports audiences

• Plan and manage performance-oriented campaigns (paid & organic) across platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok and Discord

• Create and curate content, manage channel calendars, and maintain day-to-day publishing routines

• Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and prepare insightful client reports

• Analyze trends in the gaming/esports scene and identify new tools, technologies, and formats

• Generate creative ideas and content formats to keep communities engaged

• Plan budgets, simulate campaign scenarios, and execute optimization measures based on performance data

Required:

• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in Social Media Management, ideally in a gaming or esports context

• Fluency in German and English – you know how to adapt tone and language to different audiences

• Strong communication skills and a creative mind – from witty tweets to thoughtful long-form posts

• Deep knowledge of social media platforms – fluent in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, Tik Tok, Discord, and always ready to learn more

• Experience in content planning and editorial workflows

• Structured, self-motivated, and proactive working style – you don’t wait for the next quest, you start it

• Strong interest in social trends and the gaming/esports ecosystem

Preferred:

• Experience with social ad tools (e.g. Facebook Business Manager)

• First experience in photography or visual content creation (smartphone or DSLR – both welcome!)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Adobe Suite

• Experience in campaign reporting and KPI tracking

• Passion for gaming – 8-hour game sessions are just your warm-up!
