• Own the economy - work with the rest of balancing team members and focus on taking ownership of the game economy of our live titles:

  • Monitor the resource economy using dashboards provided by analytics

  • Identify areas for improvements and risks

  • Iterate on sinks and sources at the various resource economies of the game

  • Work with Product to min/max and balance monetization- with retention improvements

• Model and simulate economic flows to predict player behavior and identify potential balance issues or exploitation paths before they happen.

• Develop and implement monetization systems that enhance player satisfaction while supporting the game’s long-term revenue goals.

• Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and design teams to align economy design with player motivations, content cadence, and live operations strategy.

• Create and manage A/B testing plans to validate hypotheses around progression pacing, event rewards, and pricing strategies.

• Establish best practices and documentation for economy tracking, balance tuning, and design rationale, ensuring all systems are measurable and adaptable.

• Stay ahead of F2P trends - regularly benchmark against successful farming, simulation, and mid-core management titles to evolve Sunshine Island’s economy design.

• Several years of experience in F2P games or working on at least 1 shipped title and/or a successful live title on monetization design roles.

• Deep understanding of Live Ops game dynamics, including monetization strategies, in-game economies and community feedback.

• You strive to take ownership and excel in getting things done by getting your hands dirty in Google Sheets, ChatGPT or similar.

• You are a resilient, detail-oriented team player, passionate about seeking new ways to enhance performance.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
