To strengthen our German-Japanese Joint Venture, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager (m/f/d) with strong technical understanding who can competently advise our customers, recognise market potential and actively contribute to the company's success.

Your mission
  • Responsibility for the smooth running of ongoing customer support and acquisition in the automotive industry,
  • Independent coordination of the strategic development of new markets and the conclusion of sales contracts
  • Responsibility for achieving and exceeding sales/earnings targets
  • Analysis of market trends and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Conducting negotiations and providing technical customer support
  • Customer visits in the DACH region and internationally
  • Reporting and evaluation of your activities
  • Visits to trade fairs/congress events
  • Regular cooperation with our foreign subsidiaries based on the assigned product portfolio
  • Close operational coordination with our Japanese joint venture partner
  • Completed commercial training
  • Solid sales experience, preferably in technical sales or sales management
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry and handling technical product data
  • Independent and structured way of working and a high degree of initiative
  • Good written and spoken English. Japanese languages skills are beneficial
  • Ability to work in a team, resilience, customer and service orientation
  • Intercultural understanding, willingness to engage in intercultural exchange
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of SAP R/3 an advantage
  • Willingness to travel (up to 60%)

Performance-related remuneration package
consisting of an attractive fixed salary and group profit participation. The gross annual salary for this position is €60,000 to €75,000 for full-time employment, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
