The Role & the Team

To support Roquette’s growth ambitions in the Health & Pharma Business Group, we are looking for our next Principal Customer Solutions Scientist – Capsules (M/F), ideally based in Germany (nearby Bomlitz). Candidates based in France and living in cross‑border areas with strong fluency in German may also be considered.

At the heart of technical expertise and customer partnership, the Customer Solutions – Capsules team plays a key role in providing scientific support to our pharmaceutical and nutraceutical customers.

Your daily mission?

In this pivotal, customer‑facing position, you will provide expert technical‑scientific support to our regional Capsules accounts, guiding customers in the optimal use of our hard capsules, supporting their innovations, ensuring their satisfaction, and directly contributing to the success of both their projects and our business through deep scientific expertise. Working in close collaboration with Technical Services & Development, Marketing, Product Line Management, and Sales, you will evolve in an international environment where science meets customer engagement.

Experience and Talents Will Make the Difference in:
  • Serving as the primary scientific liaison for a strategic portfolio of Capsules accounts in your region.
  • Providing expert technical support and application guidance on our hard capsule product portfolio.
  • Building and maintaining long‑term, trusted relationships with customers by understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support business growth.
  • Interacting with customer R&D and Procurement teams, and representing Roquette at events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing technical and commercial requirements.
  • Building a strong internal network to respond quickly and effectively to customer inquiries.
  • Acting as a technical‑scientific subject‑matter expert on hard capsules, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Master of Science (MSc) in a relevant discipline, such as Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Process Engineering, Industrial Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Experience and skills
  • You bring solid experience (over 5 years) from the pharmaceutical or oral dosage form environment.
  • You have excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, thriving in multicultural settings and with both technical and commercial counterparts.
  • You are customer‑centric, proactive, energetic, and resilient when facing challenges.
  • You work independently, know how to prioritize, manage several topics at once, and maintain a sense of urgency.
  • You are fluent in English and the local language (German).
  • The position requires being open to business travel for approximately 40–50 % of the time.
