This role is ideal for a policy professional who enjoys developing creative solutions to complex problems, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and values close collaboration with highly motivated and knowledgeable colleagues.

What you’ll do

  • Develop strategic and tactical recommendations aligned with client policy and business objectives.
  • Lead multiple complex engagements from proposal development through delivery, including shaping project scope, assembling cross‑functional teams, and overseeing execution with minimal oversight.
  • Contribute to practice goals related to sales, revenue growth, and project management.
  • Create and execute business development plans and participate in firm‑wide strategic planning discussions.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff within the practice and across the firm.
  • Produce thought leadership that elevates both personal expertise and the practice’s market profile.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, economics, business administration, or a related discipline.
Skill Requirements
  • Significant experience analyzing legislation, regulation, and policy proposals and communicating insights to clients and public audiences.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare policy, market dynamics, and the interaction between federal and state policy.
  • Experience managing and supervising staff.
  • Demonstrated situational leadership and the ability to motivate colleagues across levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex methodologies and findings clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word.
Experience requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including roles in biotech, health insurance, trade associations, advocacy organizations, Capitol Hill, the executive branch, or professional advisory services.
  • Experience in financial services or professional services focused on healthcare may substitute for direct industry experience.
  • Deep expertise in Medicare Part B, physician‑administered drug reimbursement, the 340B Program, the Inflation Reduction Act, and related drug pricing reforms.
  • Oncology policy expertise preferred.
  • Prior project management experience with strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to executive audiences.
