Our teamThe International Higher Education Strategic Sales team plays a key role in enabling scalable, high-quality sales execution across Pearson. Working at the intersection of commercial strategy, service delivery, and operational excellence, the team partners closely with sales, customer success, portfolio, product, and technology functions to bring Access sales models to life and continuously improve how they are delivered.
About the RoleWe are looking for a customer-facing Implementation Specialist to join the Strategic Sales team. In this role, you will support the delivery of the most complex opportunities closed by the Strategic Sales team, ensuring end-to-end execution across cross-functional teams. You will help keep initiatives on track, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery commitments are met with consistency, quality, and a strong customer and commercial focus.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the end-to-end delivery of services across sales models, ensuring alignment with agreed timelines, scope, and delivery standards.
- Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of Access-related initiatives and go-to-market activities across multiple projects and work streams.
- Track milestones, dependencies, and risks, proactively identifying issues and driving timely resolution.
- Act as a key point of contact for delivery performance, service status, and issue escalation, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders.
- Define, monitor, and report on key delivery metrics, including KPIs, SLAs, and milestone performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency, consistency, quality, and scalability across Access models.
- Support governance, risk management, compliance, and change management activities related to new or evolving Access sales models.
- Strong alignment with Pearson's culture and values.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in service delivery within a product, sales-enablement, commercial, or technology-enabled environment.
- Strong understanding of delivery governance and performance tracking.
- Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments and managing multiple priorities with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bilingual Spanish and English language skills.
- Availability to work from time to time in the Spain time zone, as needed.
