In this key position you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of specific growth areas within HyService, identifying growth opportunities,and developing go-to-market plans to enhance our market position. This role requires to gain a deep understanding of the hydropower industry, market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, with a focus on both strategic planning and business development.

• Implement a comprehensive growth strategy for your growth area that align with the company's long-term goals. This includes setting clear objectives and defining the roadmap to achieve them.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for your growth area. Lead negotiations and close deals with potential clients and partners.
• Perform competitive analysis to develop strategies that leverage strengths and mitigate weaknesses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop related innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs and differentiate the company from competitors.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships that can enhance related offerings, expand market reach, and strengthen the company's competitive position.
• Track and report on the performance of your growth area, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
• Ensure target KPIs for order intake and sales are met by developing and implementing sales measures for your growth area.

• Master degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering with a business mindset or equal.
• Proven experience in strategic business development and growth management, preferably in the hydropower or renewable energy industry.
• Proven experience in a leading project role in an international environment.
• Experience in the field of maintenance in the hydropower or energy industry sector is preferred.
• You know how to lead cross-functional global teams in a matrix organization being a motivational talent for future higher responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, esp. proficiency in market research.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with emotional intelligence, knowing to adapt roles and behavior in different situations.
• Very good english skills both written and verbal as well as willingness to travel internationally (20%)
• Your character reflects a person with high self-motivation and result-orientation, having a visionary mindset combined with a business attitude.

This position can be filled at any of our global Voith Hydro locations. The remote work policies will adhere to the regulations of the specific location where you are based - this is not a fully remote position.
