We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer who takes initiative, connects the dots across product and tech, gets things done, and thrives in an environment where impact matters more than titles.

• Drive feature development from idea to delivery — collaborating closely with design, product, and backend
• Work across a diverse set of challenges: from low-level communication with hardware over Wi-Fi to building polished user interfaces
• Take the lead on technical decisions, architecture, and setting code standards
• Work with modern tools and patterns, Kotlin Multiplatform, KMP
• Lead by example and raise the bar
• Push for automation, maintainability, and test coverage

• 5+ years shipping high-quality Android apps in production
• A deep understanding of mobile platform internals, frameworks, and modern architectures
• Experience with async programming, modular codebases, and debugging
• Initiative, clarity, and a strong sense of ownership

• Experience working with on-device AI/ML
• Exposure to system-level observability, feature flagging, and design systems
• Experience coordinating technical work across multiple teams or platforms

• A greenfield rewrite on modern foundations
• A product-first mindset with mobile at the core of our strategy
• A fully remote team with a base in Berlin
• Dedicated weekly hours for learning, prototyping, or experimenting with new tools

Since you will work intensely with teams from many countries, proficiency in the English language is a prerequisite.
