We’re looking for a (Senior) Developer (f / m / d) to help us build the foundational infrastructure for SAP’s Business AI. You’ll be at the heart of a team that empowers developers to embed generative AI into the enterprise applications that run the this role you’ll :

You’ll design build and operate the highly available cloud services that our AI features run on.

Take full end‑to‑end ownership of deliverables driving tangible outcomes while mentoring and developing less‑experienced engineers.

Build a scalable and fault‑tolerant infrastructure for running AI workloads using modern technologies.

Develop robust automation and monitoring to support continuous delivery across multiple cloud providers.

Develop proof‑of‑conceptions to evaluate new technologies and services to solve tomorrow’s challenges and keep our platform cutting‑edge.

Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience.

Strong programming skills in a modern programming language such as Go, Python, JavaScript, Type Script or Java. Go and Python are preferred.

• Proven expertise in applying distributed systems and cloud‑native principles to build robust scalable software.

Hands‑on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (like Kubernetes and Docker) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP).

• A passion for tackling complex problems and a drive to learn new things.
• Fluent English language skills both written and spoken as well as excellent communication skills overall.

• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native tools like Gardener, Istio, Helm and ArgoCD.

Proficiency with modern observability stacks including Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Grafana and Prometheus to ensure performance.

Familiarity with (generative) AI and related serving and inference frameworks such as v‑llm or llm‑d.

Working knowledge of or experience in operating within the SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI) ecosystem.
