Senior C++ Engineer

• End-to-end implementation of customer projects, from process analysis to technical delivery
• Further development of the C++ core components within the scheduling framework
• Ensuring quality and delivery through Test-Driven Development and CI/CD
• Technical customer communication without project management or account responsibilities
• Gradual assumption of architecture, guidelines and product ownership
• Building the tech team together with the Co-CEO
• Setting technical standards and making architectural decisions
• Defining customer integration paths
• Shaping the technical culture of the young company
• Prospective responsibility for team building and technical leadership

• Several years of experience— typically 5+ years—with modern C++ (C++17/20/23)
• Proficiency with the STL and Boost
• Clean Code principles and familiarity with SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI and design patterns
• Confident use of CMake, Git and unit testing with Google Test
• Experience in debugging and profiling
• Strong sense of ownership, pragmatism and quality awareness
• Clear, objective communication internally and externally
• German language skills at B2 level
• English language skills at C1/C2 level
• Nice-to-have:
  Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor
• Nice-to-have:
  Knowledge of cross-platform/Windows build processes
• Nice-to-have:
  Experience with CI/CD, Linux and Docker

Demonstrates extensive experience in modern C++ development, particularly with C++17/20/23, and a strong understanding of Clean Code principles and architectural decision-making. Capable of leading technical teams and shaping the technical culture while ensuring quality through Test-Driven Development and CI/CD practices.
