You

As a Senior Industrial Designer, you are the driving force behind our projects. You combine creative excellence with technical understanding to create design solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also technically and economically convincing.

• Design development:
  You will independently develop innovative, holistic product designs - from the initial idea to detailed elaboration.
• Technical realisation:
  You will work closely with engineers and manufacturing partners to ensure that your designs are technically feasible and producible. A solid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, metalwork or additive manufacturing is a matter of course for you.
• Creative partner:
  You contribute ideas, inspire the team and actively participate in internal and external creative workshops.
• Customer communication:
  You present your concepts convincingly to customers, take on board feedback and implement it in a targeted manner.
• Teamwork:
  You work closely with design colleagues, project managers and engineers. As a senior designer, you are also a mentor for younger team members.
• Quality focus:
  You ensure that every project meets the high aesthetic, functional and economic demands of our customers.

TEAMS is a global design studio with several locations that specialises in product-oriented brand development in the areas of strategic innovation, user experience design, industrial design and brand communication.

The Stuttgart Studio is located near Stuttgart in Esslingen. The studio itself is located in a beautiful loft with a marvellous view of the city and the surrounding vineyards.

To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Senior Industrial Designer who can make a significant contribution to our design quality and project realisation.

• A degree in industrial design, product design or comparable discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the design of sophisticated, technically-orientated products.
• Sound knowledge of common manufacturing technologies such as injection moulding, CNC machining, metal forming or additive manufacturing.
• High level of design expertise and a strong understanding of form, function and technical detailing.
• Very good skills in CAD software (e.g. Solid Works, Rhino) as well as tools such as Key Shot and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in communicating with customers and the ability to present convincingly - in German and English.
• An independent, structured way of working, paired with team spirit.
