Upper School MYP​/DP Music Teacher

The International School of Stuttgart e.V. is a non‑profit Kindergarten through 12th grade, NEASC accredited, IB World School offering an international curriculum to a student body of about 880 from over 40 nations. Among its strengths are its student‑centred and holistic approach to learning and its commitment to professional development and emphasis on student pastoral care. ISS is looking to hire a qualified, full‑time Upper School MYP/DP Music Teacher (All Gender).

The position starts in August 2026 and is initially for two years.

Candidates will have at least a bachelor’s degree in Music, a qualified teacher certification and should:

• Have a minimum of 3 years MYP experience with strong piano skills and/or knowledge of band.
• Be experienced in teaching music technology.
• Be committed to a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
• Have a strong commitment to the values of international education.

The successful candidate should:

• Contribute to the support of the music program throughout the whole school.
• Have up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people.
• Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
• Value and respect the views and needs of children and young people.
• Have experience in curriculum development and documentation.
• Have experience in co‑teaching.
