The Max Planck Postdoc Program from the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft provides talented early-career researchers with a range of attractive opportunities to advance their careers in science in natural sciences, life sciences, and humanities in Germany.

What is funded

The Program offers:

• A guaranteed contract duration of at least three years,
• Targeted mentoring program, including mentors from other research institutes or industry,
• Career workshop within two years, allowing postdocs to explore their potential for a career in science, industry or entrepreneurship at an early stage,
• Access to the career development and coaching offer of the Planck Academy,
• Guidelines for mentoring and supervision to ensure high standards of supervision.
