As Senior Expert Global Mobility (Employee Tax) (m/f/d) you will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing global wage tax compliance and employee mobility taxation across the organization. This role ensures alignment with international tax regulations, drives operational excellence, and supports business growth through effective tax planning and risk management. The role will serve as the primary advisor on employee tax matters, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to develop and implement best-in-class tax strategies.

This role is based in our Stuttgart headquarters and requires a 50% on-site presence.

• Global Tax Strategy & Policy Development:

  • Design and implement global wage tax policies and frameworks that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead initiatives to harmonize tax practices across regions and ensure consistency in compliance.

• Mobility Tax Compliance & Advisory:

  • Manage tax aspects of international assignments, relocations, and cross-border employment.

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, double taxation treaties, and OECD guidelines.

  • Oversee hypo tax and shadow payroll processes globally ensuring local tax requirements are met.

  • Identify and mitigate tax risks related to compensation and mobility programs.

• Stakeholder Engagement & Training:

  • Provide expert guidance to HR, Payroll, Legal, and Finance teams.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance internal capabilities in wage tax and mobility compliance.

• Technology & Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and implement tax technology solutions to streamline operations.

  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and vendors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Law, Finance, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in global wage tax and global mobility compliance
• Knowledge of German wage tax law and international tax treaties
• Experience with global payroll and shadow payroll
• Fluency in both German in English
