GFEBS Analyst in AFRICOM

Thompson Gray, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM). The potential candidate must be flexible to work full time in Germany. A candidate must have previously supported GFEBS help-desk operations in order to be considered for this position. A successful candidate must have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills and experience.

Job Duties:

• Respond to and solve user inquiries regarding GFEBS functionality, errors, and processes
• Provide step-by-step guidance for troubleshooting system-related issues
• Monitor system performance and report any anomalies
• Provide users with on-site and virtual training on auditable GFEBS processes as needed
• Develop and update user guides, SOPs, FAQs, training products, etc.
• Generate reports on helpdesk performance recurring issues
• Train Government employees on GFEBS processes
• Assist in testing system updates, patches, and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with Army regulations and policies
• Generate reports on helpdesk performance recurring issues for process improvement
• Employ audit tools, software, and financial management systems used by the Army for tracking and analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a US citizen and have a SECRET clearance.
• Must have a bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management, or a related field with 3 years of experience.
• Must be able to clearly communicate with all levels of an organization to include senior military and civilian personnel.
• Must be able to travel and work in Germany full-time.

Technical Proficiency

• In-depth knowledge of all functional areas in GFEBS/GFEBS-SA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Service Now and ADVANA
