The role focuses on modernizing hybrid integration environments, transforming legacy SAP PI/PO architectures, and establishing event-driven and cloud-native integration models.

The architect operates at the intersection of business, enterprise/integration architecture, infrastructure, and development teams, ensuring scalable, resilient, secure, and strategy-aligned integration solutions.##

Key Responsibilities
** Architecture & Strategy
*** Design end-to-end integration architectures (cloud, hybrid, on-premise)
* Define target architectures within S/4

HANA transformation programs
* Introduce and implement Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
* Establish integration governance, standards, and best practices
* Drive technology selection and architectural decision-making
** Integration Modernization
*** Analyze and assess existing SAP PI/PO landscapes
* Develop modernization strategies (e.g., transition to SAP Integration Suite)
* Introduce event-driven and/or API-centric integration models
* Replace traditional middleware and point-to-point connectivity with cloud-native integration patterns
** Migration & Assessment
*** Conduct structured migration assessments
* Perform integration maturity and capability analyses
* Develop transformation roadmaps
** Technical Focus Areas
*** Implement cloud integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration)
* Design and configure event-driven architectures using broker technologies such as SAP Advanced Event Mesh, Solace, Confluent, Kafka
* Enable SAP ERP systems using ASAPIO Integration Add-on/ SAP Event Add-on for ERP
* Implement real-time, asynchronous, and API-based integration patterns## Core Competencies
