We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at DZ PRIVATBANK. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and operation of Cisco-based network environments. Your expertise will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our LAN, WLAN, and WAN infrastructures. You will play a critical role in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions, primarily focusing on Cisco technologies.

Additionally, you will conduct network analyses, optimize performance, and resolve complex issues to support our internal teams and clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our network security and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification. You should have several years of professional experience working with network security solutions, particularly Network Detection and Response (NDR). Profound knowledge of Cisco ACI (Multi Pod), Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), including policy creation, is essential. Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, SGTs/Trust Sec, and Infoblox (IPAM/DNS/DHCP) is highly desirable.

Familiarity with the 'Network as Code' approach, including automation using Ansible, scripting with Python, and integration techniques, is required. You should also be comfortable working with version control systems like Git Lab or Git Hub and have experience with CI/CD pipelines. A self‑motivated, structured work style, strong team orientation, and fluency in German and English are necessary for success in this role.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support, resolving complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
