A well‑established international organisation delivering complex engineering and infrastructure projects is strengthening its procurement function and is seeking a Procurement Lead to support multi‑disciplinary project portfolios across Germany. This role sits within a project‑driven environment where procurement plays a critical role in enabling delivery, managing commercial risk, and supporting long‑term value creation across capital investments.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement activities for engineering services, technical subcontracting, and project‑based work packages
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with complex project portfolios and business objectives
• Manage RFx processes, supplier pre‑qualification, tender evaluations, and contract awards in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Lead commercial negotiations for high‑value and complex service contracts
• Prepare commercial evaluations, recommendations for award, and approval documentation
• Coordinate contract handover to project execution and subcontracting teams
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Monitor procurement markets and identify opportunities for optimisation, risk mitigation, and innovation

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within engineering, construction, EPC, or industrial project environments
• Proven experience procuring engineering services or project‑based subcontracting scopes
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence managing complex commercial discussions
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, project, commercial, and legal stakeholders
• Fluency in English and German B2
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or similar)
• Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a comparable discipline
