Field Application Engineer

We are seeking a Generalist Field Applications Engineer to join the Advanced Engineering team in Stuttgart, Germany.

As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) you will be exposed to and trained on a portfolio from world-leading semiconductor manufacturers that offer cutting-edge technology solutions. You will work with and recommend engineering solutions to original equipment manufacturers across market segments including automotive, industrial, military, commercial, medical, solid-state lighting and others.

The prime responsibility of a Generalist Field Applications Engineer (gFAE) is to provide Applications and Design Solutions to the Company’s customer base, using knowledge gained through education, experience, and training seminars from the Manufacturers we represent.

• Provide applications and design solutions to customers using product knowledge and training.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
• Degree in Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of five years design experience in the field or with an electronics company.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive and results-driven approach.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about helping other engineers bring successful projects to market.
