Description OverviewThe Brand Activation Manager (m/w/d) is responsible for translating brand strategy into impactful in‑market activation plans at country level. Reporting to the S&W Cluster Senior Marketing Director (with a dotted line to the Market Lead), this role ensures seamless alignment between Brand, CS&I, Sales and Commercial teams to deliver strong brand visibility and execution.
Scope of the RoleTranslate brand strategy and KPIs into clear, actionable activation plans in close partnership with Brand Managers, CS&I and the Market Lead.
Define distribution priorities
, reach ambitions and price positioning based on brand strategy, competitive benchmarks and consumer perception, aligned with CS&I, Sales and RGM.
Determine required in‑store assets to maximize activation impact, incorporating shopper insights and feasibility input from CS&I.
Build a comprehensive activation calendar aligned with media planning, consumer seasonality and commercial feasibility, covering promotions, advertising and POS animation.
Define HCP priorities and key assets in collaboration with CS&I.
Coordinate and validate country‑level priorities with CS&I and the Market Lead to ensure alignment with category and cluster strategies.
Consolidate and manage the country activation calendar
, ensuring visibility, consistency and prioritization across all stakeholders.
Track execution, monitor performance and share status updates and first results with relevant teams.
Present category and brand activation plans to Sales teams during conventions, meetings and internal sessions.
Ensure all plans reflect cluster guidelines
, country context and unified priorities.
Manage communication of country calendars and plans to all stakeholders and defend prioritization decisions based on cross‑functional alignment.
Experience RequiredDegree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
Several years of experience in Brand Activation, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing or Brand Management (FMCG/Consumer Health preferred)
Strong ability to translate strategy into actionable activation plans
Experience collaborating with CS&I, Sales, RGM and Brand teams
Solid understanding of distribution, pricing, competition and shopper insights
Proven experience in activation calendar planning and POS execution
Strong analytical skills and confidence in KPI tracking
Excellent stakeholder management at market and cluster level
Structured, proactive and execution‑driven working style
Fluency in German and English
, with strong communication skills in both languages
