Job Description

Rise Smart’s Transition service offers an effective alternative to traditional Outplacement, focusing on what professionals need most: a new job. The Career Coach supports laid-off employees through job search assistance via video, phone, and email. The role involves coordinating with other Rise Smart service providers like resume writers, job lead specialists, and technical support. The coach provides strategic job search coaching, including mock interviews, interview prep, offer evaluation, salary negotiation, networking tips, and other support as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience coaching professionals through all aspects of a job search
  • Diverse professional background, including corporate experience and coaching
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Experience coaching technical professionals
  • Background in Technical Recruiting

Other Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication, listening, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Strong rapport-building skills and a natural ability to make clients feel cared about
  • Empathy, positivity, and motivational skills
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks effectively, such as detailed note-taking and dashboard management
  • Maintain high performance and satisfaction standards
  • Personal computer meeting specified requirements
