About the Position

The Strategic Planner, GS-0301-13, serves as a Special Access Program (SAP) Strategic Planner for the Headquarters US European Command (EUCOM), Operations Directorate, Information Operations and Special Activities Division, supporting the division's mission in forming strategic capabilities and services to the command, Department of War (DoW), Joint Staff, and other government agencies within the command's area of responsibility (AOR).

Additional information about transcripts is in this document. You will be evaluated on your competency in the following areas, based on one year of specialized experience that includes:
Planning and Evaluating Assisting in the development of operational plans to integrate sensitive or special access programs into strategic organization initiatives and response plans; AND Project Management Providing analytical support for sensitive programs, including monitoring program budgets, providing non-supervisory direction to Contract personnel, tracking resource allocations, recommending process improvements, and managing outputs for directed requirements; AND Strategic Thinking Coordinating with internal and external partners to support requirements for restricted programs and researching technologies to enhance program security.

Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
