Security Assistance Initiative Program Analyst
The Opportunity:
Support Security Assistance ( SA ) efforts in the air domain through planning, prioritization, case lifecycle management, training, sustainment, and other Security Cooperation Office ( SCO ) functions. Interface with foreign allies and partners to identify capability requirements and propose solutions to address capability gaps. Provide expertise on SA and Security Cooperation ( SC ) authorities. Support SA or SC programs in the air domain with a focus on fixed and rotary-wing aviation assets and related enablers.
Coordinate pre-Letter of Request ( LOR ) activities, LORs, Letters of Offer and Acceptance ( LOA ) , case development, program execution, and Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation ( AM & E ) efforts for capability-based SA or SC programs. Develop and lead U.S. interagency and allied and partner nation meetings to ensure SA or SC program execution. Manage correspondence in support of partner e nga gements, training events, program reviews, information papers, and routine MILGP correspondence.
Enable timely responses to requests for information pertaining to foreign SA. Support Foreign Visit Requests and International Travel Orders, as needed.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience with U.S. military, civil, or foreign service
- 7+ years of experience with program or project management, including fixed or rotary-wing aviation assets
- Experience with SA or SC programs, planning processes, and sof tware tools
- Experience working with allied or partner nations, the Department of War, and the Department of State
- Experience briefing and preparing papers for General Officer or Flag Officer ( GO / FO ) or Senior Executive Service ( SES ) leadership
- Experience using Micro sof t Excel, including managing large data sets and tables for analysis and presentation
- Ability to independently determine focus and workflow with competing priorities, and work as part of a small team under high pressure in a contested environment
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time in support of mission requirements
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working with an Implementing Agency ( IA ) , Program Executive Office ( PEO ) , or Defense Security Cooperation Agency ( DSCA )
- Experience with foreign SA offices, the SCO, Combatant Commands, or Foreign Area Officer ( FAO )
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales ( FMS ) case lifecycle management
- TS/SCI clearance
- Security Cooperation Workforce Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;
Secret clearance is required.
