* As an intern (m/f/x), you will dive deep into the development and operation of backend services.
* You will actively work on the design, implementation and maintenance of recommender systems, which are used, for example, in the Mercedes-Benz Car Configurator.
* Your main responsibilities will include developing new features and overseeing the smooth operation of the Services.
* You will mainly develop with Java and Kotlin and gain insights into CI/CD pipelines, especially with Git Hub Actions.
* For your daily work, you have access to modern tools such as Git, Jira and Confluence as well as the Intelli

* During your internship, you will be accompanied by experienced experts (m/f/x) and work in a dynamic and supportive team.
* You are an enrolled student (m/f/x) of computer science or a related course of study and are looking for an internship from February 2026 to gain practical experience in an innovative company.
* Sound knowledge of Java or Kotlin is absolutely necessary for this, ideally you also have some experience with CI/CD pipelines.
* Your strengths lie in analytical thinking, very good German and English skills and the motivation to take on responsibility and learn new technologies.
* Within your small, agile and innovation-driven team, in which teamwork is a top priority, you look forward to working regularly with your colleagues (m/f/x) on site in Ulm or Stuttgart.
* Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and an interest in generative AI are desirable, but not mandatory.
