Senior Software Engineer; m​/f​/d

Together with our partner, a leading European technology group in the greater Stuttgart area, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on C++.

In this position, you will design the technical architecture and foundation of the entire software landscape. You will combine state-of-the-art backend technologies with intelligent applications in embedded and real-time environments, bringing the AI systems into operational use.

• You will design and implement scalable backend and API architectures (e.g., REST, gRPC).
• You will develop complex, data-intensive applications using modern C++ frameworks and ensure performance and stability.
• You will be responsible for designing the data architecture, modeling data structures, and managing SQL and No
  
  SQL databases.
• You will have end-to-end responsibility for the entire technology stack and make technical decisions.
• You will support the team as a technical contact person, share your knowledge, and promote best practices in software design and clean code.

• Very good knowledge of developing edge applications with C++
• Several years of experience in the architecture and development of distributed, cloud‑native systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ideally, experience in development with a modern backend language such as Python or Go
• Fluent English and ideally also German language skills
