Tech Lead Software Engineering for Cloud-based Industrial AI and Software Applications (f/m/div.)

Full-time position.

• Develop, analyze, prioritize, specify, validate, and manage requirements for cloud-based industrial AI and software applications.
• Design end‑to‑end architectures for cloud‑based industrial AI and software applications, considering performance, scalability, reliability, security, usability, maintainability, integratability, observability, and business conditions.
• Elaborate, review and update the technical roadmap together with an interdisciplinary team from business, AI feature development and software engineering.
• Technically manage the development and operation of industrial AI and software applications, including frontend, backend, cloud, data engineering, Dev Ops, and AI feature integration.
• Ensure timely, specification‑compliant and high‑quality delivery according to best‑practice development and operational standards.
• Innovate cloud‑based industrial AI and software applications based on a thorough understanding of the latest trends in software and AI architecture design and their software components.
• Offer technical guidance to your software engineering team and promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices within the team.
• Work closely with AI, software engineering, business, and domain experts in an international, interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate technical content clearly and understandably to customers, technical and business teams, as well as management.

• Completed degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Several years of professional experience with a proven track record of delivering cloud‑based, industrial AI and software applications on time, to specification, and with high quality.
• Strong experience in building and leading software engineering teams.
• Familiarity with the integration of AI features.
• Deep understanding of the latest end‑to‑end architectural design principles for cloud‑based, industrial AI and software applications and their software components.
• Experience with cloud‑based AI and software applications for manufacturing is a plus.

• Success in driving technical innovations and inspiring teams; excellent communication skills and work confidently in international, interdisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English spoken and written;
  German is a plus.
