Mercedes-Benz Cars Sales & Customer Experience comprises the sales, after-sales, marketing and product management functions of Mercedes-Benz Cars, and is responsible for the development of the global sales organisation. The SC/PMM department is responsible for operational product management in sales for mid-size car products (C, CLE, GLC and E-Class), from the strategy phase through to the market launch and the entire lifecycle, culminating in the end of production.

The aim is to develop and realise innovative ideas, impulses, products, characteristics and services for the relevant vehicles and their potential customers in order to ensure a successful future for Mercedes-Benz AG together with the other departments involved.

You will be part of a platform product management team, which means:

• Sub-project management of complex, cross-departmental, innovative projects
• Realisation of project controlling (e.g. costs, quality and deadlines)
• Creation of clear decision-making documents based on fact-based input, and the preparation and implementation of committees
• Creation and coordination of content/presentations up to the highest hierarchical level
• Derivation, preparation and implementation of clear, innovative recommendations for action for the decision-makers at Mercedes-Benz AG
• Definition and coordination of offer scenarios for sales-relevant topics

• As a trainee in product management, you will play a key role in the team for the optimal implementation of market and customer requirements in the vehicle development process
• Ensuring the implementation of processes and the realisation of decisions in the relevant areas
• Independent coordination of content, timelines and processes with the relevant departments
  
  Creative analysis as the basis for new, innovative projects, products and services, also with the help of AI

• An above-average degree (master, MBA or doctorate) in Industrial Engineering
• Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
• At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
• Extraordinarily strong analytical and conceptual skills, experience of project management
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, AI an advantage
• Fluent in German, English and preferably one other foreign language
