1. Commodity Strategy

• Define and own the commodity strategy aligned with business objectives
• Analyze supply markets, cost drivers, and technology trends
• Determine sourcing models (global/regional, single/dual sourcing)

2. Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation

• Lead sourcing activities (RFQs, supplier selection, awarding)
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements
• Ensure competitive total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Develop and manage a strategic supplier base
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on performance and capability
• Drive supplier development and consolidation

4. Cost & Value Management

• Achieve cost savings and budget targets
• Apply cost analysis (e.g., should-cost models, benchmarking)
• Identify and implement value engineering opportunities

  5. Risk & Supply Continuity

  • Identify and assess supply chain risks
  • Ensure stable and continuous supply

  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • With project purchasing, engineering, operations, and finance
  • Support product development and sourcing decisions
  • Align purchasing activities with business needs

  7. Performance Management & Governance

  • Monitor supplier and commodity KPIs (cost, quality, delivery)
  • Ensure contract compliance and procurement standards
  • Report performance and progress to stakeholders
  Your Profile Qualifications& Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
  • Experience in supplier management and strategic sourcing
  • Strategic thinking
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Analytical and financial acumen
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
