For our site in Wolfsburg, we are looking for a Lean / BPE Engineer (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date. In this role, you will support the site in evaluating and analysing customer contracts and operational activities through clearly defined methodological approaches.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn your new role, you will report to the Business Process Excellence Manager (BPE) and act as the main point of contact for the responsible department managers regarding the analysis, planning and optimisation of logistics processes, particularly through:
- Analysing the assigned site to identify economic potential and inefficiencies in collaboration with site management and the local process engineer
- Analysing operational logistics processes and comparing them with contractual agreements to identify inefficiencies and develop improvement recommendations
- Developing operational, commercial and organisational measures to increase site profitability, aligning these measures with site management and supporting their implementation
- Reviewing billing arrangements, cost structures, material flows and production performance to identify and implement optimisation opportunities
- Working closely with international and cross-functional teams to support the development and implementation of improvement initiatives
- Delivering employee training on process optimisation and efficiency improvement using LEAN methodologies
- Leading and coordinating logistics improvement projects to enhance efficiency and sustainability
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in the logistics industry, preferably in contract logistics
- Strong expertise in Lean Management, project coordination, and process planning and optimisation
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Valid Class B driving licence
