Edu-inter French School:
Are you searching for a French immersion program in Canada for your child or teenager? Located in Quebec City, considered the cradle of French Civilization in North America, Edu-inter provides a range of winter and summer French camps for kids and teens ages 10-17. In addition to our French language courses, Edu-inter offers homestay programs with local Quebec families for international students ages 13-17 who wish to experience studying in a Canadian high school. We also offer year-round French immersion programs for adults.
French Immersion Programs for Children & Teenagers:
Summer French Camps:
For Children & Teenagers - ages 10-17
Taught at 7 levels from beginner to advanced, our French language classes take place in the morning from 8:30 am to 11:45 am.
They are designed to help students to develop all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, in addition to studying phonetics and grammar. Participants can select from a wide variety of afternoon programs, and can choose a different activity each week if they choose.
Our multi-activity program offers students fun and varied activities every afternoon and is operated directly by our team. The French & Sport and French & Art programs are mostly offered in collaboration with local partners and provide students with an opportunity to mix with local teenagers.
Participants can either stay with a host family or in residence. We organize one or two evening activities plus weekend activities.Program Options include:

High School French Immersion Programs:
For international students ages 13-17 who wish to experience studying in a Canadian high school.
• Academic Year in French Program: This program lasts 10 months from the end of August to the start of June. It offers the opportunity to attain an advanced level of French as well as experiencing a complete immersion in the French-Canadian culture.
• High School Semester Experience Program:
This program lasts 3-6 months and can be started on any Monday throughout the academic year. Participants are completely integrated into high school life in Quebec City, participating in academic classes, extracurricular activities and other school events with local students.
• Summer Bridge Program:
This program aims to prepare students for the academic year program and runs for four weeks during July and August.
It consists of 15 hours of French classes per week plus afternoon, evening and weekend activities and excursions to help participants learn about Quebec history and culture.
All programs include homestay accommodation with a local French speaking host family. Please note that this is not a residential school program.
