Our hospitality internship / work experience placements are offered throughout Spain. They give you the chance to live in Spain, working to cover your expenses while you stay for 1-12 months! Internships are held in locations all over Spain, including Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga and Granada.

Instituto Hemingway's Bilbao headquarters is approximately 396 km / 246 miles north of Madrid and 612km / 380 miles north-west of Barcelona.

Hospitality & Hotel Work Experience / Internship Programs: 
- Duration: 1 to 12 months

A unique work abroad program designed for those students who wish to finance their stay and gain work experience in the hotel and/or catering sector. 

Students work in a hospitality or retail business. Positions include: bartender, amusement park attendant, waitress, kitchen assistant, waiter’s helper, hostess in a restaurant... 

Our internships / work experience programs offer you the best option for learning a new language and living within a new culture.

Accommodation, meals and pocket money are covered, and you work between 35 and 40 hours a week. Features include:

- Paid Job Placement: From 1 month until as long as your status permits.
- Eligibility: Longstanding EU members, Malta, Cyprus, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, USA, Australia, Canada. Age between 18-35 years.
- Required Experience: All levels welcome 
- Accommodation: Affordable accommodations in shared apartments and student dorms!
- Jobs Programme Start Dates: All year long.

Accommodation:
You can choose any city around Spain. Our headquarters are in the beautiful Bilbao. If you wish to prolong your stay, you can also enroll in a course at Advanced or Higher level.
