MKC Academy provides a unique experience for novices, students and professionals who want a makeup school to help them excel in the beauty makeup industry, in Fashion, Film, Television, Runway and Print. MKC Internship Program .

MKC Academy of Fashion, Beauty & Print campus offers a relaxing oasis with stylish comfort, in a private educational retreat. Our campus is located just minutes from world famous Hollywood Boulevard and includes administrative offices, professionally designed classrooms, a 1000 square foot professional photo studio and freshly manicured grounds. Our on-site administration office is conveniently located near the classrooms with knowledgeable and friendly staff always willing to help students with financial aid, course schedules, school facilities or career planning.

Designed personally by Margaret Kimura, our professionally equipped classrooms feature high quality tools and supplies and an expert lighting package, allowing up to 12 students per classroom the opportunity to study in the most industry-like environment available. Our 288 sq. ft. and 228 sq. ft. classrooms include a digital camera and monitoring system for viewing up-close demonstrations and imagery taping for online and offline portfolios.

MKC provides you with many career-training tools while you are in session. In your business and marketing classes, you will learn how to start your business and how to grow your business, upon graduation. MKC provides the masters and the works students access to an alumni job board. We post jobs and networking events weekly on our alumni page and also send out email notifications when a referral comes in. Through our affiliations with quality companies in the industry, our job board is a powerful tool to assist graduates in locating work after graduation - although placement is not guaranteed.

This is a freelancing industry and all of our teachers are working and are known for taking qualified students as an assistant on jobs. We don’t directly place you in a job, but with our education, we have a success rate of 90% for our alumni. Once you are accepted to MKC, you are now a part of the MKC Family. We are always available for meetings and career meetings. 

To assist graduates with marketing and self-promotion, we provide each graduate with an online website portfolio. Through our partnership with The Portfolio Network, we provide free online website portfolios for one year, along with one free website portfolio training session.
