ESL Programs for Kids & Teens in Vancouver, Canada

International House Vancouver:
International House (IH) Vancouver offers unique, educational, and fun ESL (English as a second language) programs for children and teenagers to suit every need, budget and language ability in Vancouver, BC. We offer English language Summer and Winter programs including Children's Adventure Program for children ages 5-12 and a Winter Junior Program for 13-17 year olds. We also provide a Homestay Junior Program for 13-17 year olds, as well as a Residential Junior program on the campus of the University of British Columbia for kids and teens ages 9-17.

English Language Programs for Juniors (Children & Teenagers ages 5-17)
Group English language programs for children and teenagers of all levels from beginner to advanced, as well as family programs:

English Language Junior Winter Program: 
Offered from late December to mid February

IH Vancouver is pleased to offer activity-based ESL Junior programs to students ages 13-17 with all levels of English ability.

These programs are ESL focused and students have classes in all of the major language skills areas. In addition to interesting in-class activities, students have field trips to exciting places around the city.

English Language Children's Summer Adventure Camp: 
Offered in July & August, and open to groups in other months
The Children's Summer Adventure Camp program is open for children ages 5-12 of all English abilities, and includes a minimum of 2 full-day field trips per week.

It is a theme-based program that combines educational lessons with in-class activities and excursions. 

Children interact with peers from all over the world, making friendships that will last a lifetime, and our small classes provide an intensive immersive learning atmosphere.

All of our CAP staff are accredited and certified elementary school teachers who have direct experience teaching international students. 

English Language Junior Summer Program at UBC (University of British Columbia): 
Offered in July & August
The IH Vancouver Junior Program at UBC is a summer holiday program for students ages 9-17.

The program combines intensive, small-group English classes with fun excursions and social activities.

Students have a great time while learning. Students stay in either shared or private rooms with their classrooms only a short walk from their residence.

English Language Homestay Junior Program:
Offered in July & August 
This program is open to students ages 13-17 with all levels of English ability. Students have classes in all of the major language skills areas.

In addition to interesting in-class activities, students go on field trips to exciting locations around the city. 

The junior homestay programs are ideal for building English language skills, exploring Vancouver and making friends from around the world.
